$In this April 2018 photo, Cole Cheney, 16, poses for a photo in Layton, Utah. Cheney was riding his dirt bike when collided head first with an ATV that had pulled into the landing area of a jump and was airlifted to Utah Valley Hospital. Cheney suffered a fractured skull, a brain bruise, two broken vertebrae and loss of blood. He was saved by two emergency medical technicians who happened to be near the sand dune where he landed.
