In fact the New York Times reported that small, rural Glades Central had produced more current National Football League players than any other high school in the country with 7 during the 2001 season. Their main rival is Pahokee Blue Devils. Meets between the two are known as the Muck Bowl one of the most famous high school rivalry games in the nation and can draw up to 25,000 spectators each year.
