In this photo taken March 14, 2014, Captain Bill Dowling gives a kiss to his friend's three-month-old son Ryan Rainville in Tomball, Texas. Dowling receives friends and colleagues to this home in Tomball everyday. Dowling suffered serious brain injuries and lost both his legs after fighting a massive motel fire on May 31, 2013.
