BERKELEY COUNTY (W.VA.) HISTORICAL SOCIETY VIA ASSOCIATED PRESS Belle Boyd was known as the "siren of the South," who used her feminine charms to spy on Union soldiers for the Confederacy. The Appalachian Regional Commission hopes to use her intrigue to lure tourists to the Belle Boyd House in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle.
