OPINION:
The decision to go into combat is never simple. What went into President Trump’s decision-making before striking Iran and was it a good choice? Tim Constantine and David Bozell ask whether this could turn into a grand misadventure in American history.
You know, there’s always a promise from government of a short timetable. I don’t know if they can get Iran to capitulate in four weeks or not. But I do know this president is committed to seeing it through. And when he talks in terms of getting rid of their nuclear, getting rid of ballistic missiles, getting rid of their support for terror groups — those are all important things. But you and I both know regime change is part of the plan here. And if they can accomplish that, there is an opportunity to stabilize the entire Middle East. This isn’t just about Iran and the United States.
