The revival of the hospital sitcom “Scrubs” has become ABC’s top comedy episode and debut series on streaming 16 years after it was cancelled, multiple news outlets report.

The revived series, which premiered on Feb. 25, garnered 11.36 million viewers in its first five days across several streaming platforms, including Hulu and Disney+.

The revival reunites original cast members Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke as J.D., Turk and Elliot at Sacred Heart Hospital. Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley are featured in recurring roles.



The revival has an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 72 out of 100 on Metacritic.
