President Trump said the U.S. has “virtually unlimited” munitions to fight wars “forever,” in a clear warning to the Iranian regime.

“The United States Munitions Stockpiles have, at the medium and upper medium grade, never been higher or better — as was stated to me today, we have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons,” Mr. Trump posted late Monday on Truth Social.

“Wars can be fought ‘forever’ and very successfully using just these supplies (which are better than other countries finest arms!),” he wrote. “At the highest end, we have a good supply, but not where we want to be. Much additional high-grade weaponry is stored for us in outlying countries.”

Mr. Trump said “additional high-grade weaponry” is being stored for the U.S. in “outlying countries,” and he accused former President Joseph R. Biden of reducing America’s weapons supply during his time in the White House.

“Sleepy Joe Biden spent all of his time, and our country’s money, giving everything to P.T. Barnum (Zelenskyy) of Ukraine — hundreds of billions of dollars worth — And while he gave so much of the super high end away (Free!) he didn’t bother to replace it,” Mr. Trump said.

Mr. Trump’s post pushed back against a Wall Street Journal report that the U.S. is racing to destroy Iran’s missile and drone forces before it runs out of interceptors to fend off Tehran’s retaliation efforts.

The article also stated that Persian Gulf countries that have received interceptors from the U.S. are dwindling their supply as they try to shoot down Iranian projectiles.

The post also comes a day after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes against Iran. The military effort, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, began early Saturday after weeks of failed negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over its nuclear program.

Iran has launched counterattacks against Israel and other nations in the Middle East. Six American soldiers have been killed, according to the Pentagon.

Mr. Trump said Monday that the military effort in Iran, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, could last “four to five weeks,” but he also bragged that it’s moving ahead of schedule.

“We have the strongest and most powerful, by far, military in the world, and we will easily prevail,” the president said at the White House during a Medal of Honor ceremony. “We’re already substantially ahead of our time projections, but whatever the time is, it’s OK. Whatever it takes.”

“From the beginning, we projected four to five weeks, but we have the capability to go far longer than that,” he added.
