Nationals.TV hit the District’s airwaves on Thursday morning.

The Washington team’s new platform for streaming home games went live online and on local cable providers ahead of the franchise’s season opener after a brief delay.

The Nationals announced the new channel after their agreement with MASN expired following last season. The team instead opted into a partnership with MLB for a league-produced broadcast that will stream online for cord-cutters.

The channel will also be available to Charter, Comcast, DirecTV, Cox, Spectrum, Verizon Fios and Fubo subscribers.

The exact details of the cable deals were not announced until Thursday morning, rankling some fans who hoped to watch Washington’s spring training games on the new channel.

Nationals.TV is now available on channel 425 on the Spectrum app, channel 330 for local Spectrum cable subscribers, channel 1261 on Comcast, channel 159 on Cox, channel 641 on DirecTV and channel 579 on Verizon Fios.

The new channel will be available for no additional charge to subscribers of those cable providers. To watch every Nationals game this season, other fans can pay $99.99 per year or $19.99 a month for a Nationals.TV streaming subscription.

The Nationals open the season in Chicago on Thursday afternoon against the Cubs.
