Democrats and their love affair with men’s tampons

Maryland may be facing financial deficits and budgetary hardships, but that’s not stopping lunatic Democrats from pushing to spend tax dollars on tampons for men.

Next up: tax-paid Breastfeeding 101 classes for pregnant males? Perhaps Pete Buttigieg could be the featured speaker.

In Maryland, lawmakers were faced with a surprise budget shortfall of $1.5 billion. The Senate Budget and Taxation Committee addressed the gap in its recently finalized 2027 fiscal spending plan of nearly $71 billion.

“So bottom line is [the budget’s] balanced,” said Senate Budget and Taxation Chairman Guy Guzzone, a Democrat, in Maryland Matters. “The programs that we were able to save were important.”

Enter tampons for men.

Enter HB 941.

Republican Delegate Kathy Szeliga called out her Democrat colleagues for supporting this bill that stocks tampons in all the men’s bathrooms for state-owned buildings. In recent public remarks, she asked about some of the language in the bill — specifically, the portion where it mentioned the tampons to be placed in men’s rooms were to be “appropriately sized” — and also if those male facilities were to include sports complexes where the Ravens and Orioles play.

Her question: “What are appropriately sized tampons?”

A response from Democrat Delegate Ken Kerr: “[It] just means that tampons are offered, there’s no specific size.”

Spoken like a true man who knows nothing about tampons — which is what should be the norm, but is no longer the norm because Democrats have gone off the deep end into lunacy.

Men don’t menstruate. Can we just put that out there as a truth?

And if so, that should make it clear that men don’t need tampons.

And that should further make clear that discussions about “appropriately sized tampons” for men don’t need to go forth as an item of tax-paid debate from the mouths of tax-paid public servants who are supposed to be doing the work of their tax-paying constituents.

“If it is a state-owned building, then yes, [tampons] would go in [men’s bathrooms] — it’s a public building,” Kerr said. “If Raven Stadium is a state building, then yes, it would apply. … If it applies to the Raven Stadium, it would also apply to Oriole Park.”

Szeliga, in an interview with Fox reported by AOL News, said this isn’t the first time Democrats have tried to put tampons in male bathrooms.

“It must be coming from some national movement,” she said.

It is.

“Illinois House Approves Measure To Require Menstrual Products In School Girls’ And Boys’ Bathrooms,” NPR Illinois wrote in May 2021.

And this, from WRAL News: “In 2023, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed a law that requires schools provide access to menstrual products in bathrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12 … [meaning] transgender boys and nonbinary students — who might menstruate and are permitted to use boys’ restrooms — must also have access to the menstrual products.”

And like that, Tampon Tim was born.

And this, from Delaware House Democrats’ website, HouseDems.Delaware.gov, in March of 2021: “House Passes Bill Requiring Schools To Provide Free Menstrual Hygiene Products … HB 20 also requires that menstrual products be made available to half of bathrooms designated non-gender conforming.”

Democrats may talk a good game about their love for and adherence to science; they may talk about the settled science of climate change to justify cracking down on human activities; they may have talked about the science of masking during Covid to justify slapping one, no, two, face masks on every man, woman and child in America; they m ay have talked about the science of Big Pharmaceutical companies to force experimental injections into the arms of Americans during the Covid years, as well.

But when it comes to basic biology and XX versus XY, their so-called science goes out the window.

Democrats who seriously argue that men need tampons in public bathrooms — and that taxpayers must pay — don’t belong in political office. They belong in therapy.
