OPINION:
President Trump in a social media post wrote that “the greatest enemy America has is the radical left, highly incompetent, Democrat Party” — and predictably enough, the radical left and highly incompetent Democrats began lashing back, telling him, for instance, as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said on CNN, “Trump should keep his reckless mouth shut before he gets somebody killed.” And that’s laughable because, of course, as everybody knows, Democrats are the ones who do most of the killing.
That aside, Trump has a point — Democrats are enemies of America.
The party of patriotic John F. Kennedy is gone; the party of pragmatic patriotism Bill Clinton is gone. Today’s Democrat Party is the place where communists and socialists go. More than that, the communists themselves acknowledge that socialism and communism is one and the same. That means when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, from their elected perches within the Democrat Party, talk openly of their socialist leanings, they’re really in truth embracing communism.
From the Communist Party USA’s website: “Our vision is one of ‘Bill of Rights socialism’ in the USA.” And this: “For democracy. For equality. For socialism. … Join the Communist Party USA Today.” And this: “‘The Road to Socialism USA’ is the program of the Communist Party USA.”
They’re saying the quiet part out loud.
They’re saying the part we all knew but were told was conspiracy.
They’re acknowledging that socialism is communism and communism is socialism — and the end goal of all these ‘isms’ in America is communism, that is, collectivism.
This is important because it is an outing of a lie the Democrats have long tried to tell.
For years, Democrats have played with political labels. They’ve gone on national television and told the world, ‘We’re not socialists, we’re democratic-socialists,’ or ‘I’m not a socialist, I’m a progressive,’ or ‘Democrats aren’t socialists, we just believe in the working class.’ They’ve argued over labels so as to distract from the sneaky ways in which they’ve moved from core Democrat principles — ones that started with a love for America and that stood strong on patriotic principles — and toward more globalist ideas, ultimately settling on the type of platforms that would’ve made Karl Marx proud.
It used to be Americans had to peel back the layers to expose the socialist-slash-communist leanings of choice Democrats.
Now, communists are peeling back the layers themselves and showing today’s Democrats as what they really are: commies-in-training, those who embolden commies, or madcap marching communists.
The link between the communists and socialists is stated on CPUSA’s website.
The link between the socialists and Democrats is the Democrat Party’s open embrace of proud, stated socialists.
And remember COVID: Tyrants don’t need everybody on board in order to bring about their tyrannical ways. They only need key players in key positions. Just as the COVID tyrants brought the nation to a halt by selling their fear and instilling their regulatory controls through select systems — the airlines, for instance; the teachers’ unions, for example — so, too, today’s communists in the Democrat Party don’t need all their political operatives to blindly follow the communist way of life. They only need key players, select leaders, carefully chosen big mouths. Working with their select partners in media and business, these few chosen radicals in politics can accomplish much.
Individually, there may be many fine Democrats in today’s party who truly love America.
But they’re not the influential voices in the party. They’re not the puppet masters of the party’s direction.
Today’s Democrats are led by communist-loving. power-hungry, secular-minded pols who want nothing less than the total destruction of American Exceptionalism. Trump may have called them out as the “greatest enemy” of America in context of mentioning the success of Epic Fury operations against Iran. But as a party, the Democrats have been an enemy of America’s for far longer, for many more years — and particularly notably during the Barack Obama years when the winning White House strategy was, to paraphrase, “I have a phone and a pen. Who needs Congress?”
That’s the epitome of communist thinking: I am government, hear me roar.
Americans would be smart to forget about labels and listen to rhetoric and look at actions, and then it becomes abundantly clear: Today’s Democrats are really more like communists, and yes, that makes them the “greatest enemy” of this nation.
