Chuck Norris, 86, star of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” went to the hospital on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, according to reports Thursday.
Mr. Norris was on Kauai Wednesday to train, an unnamed friend of his told TMZ, and subsequently suffered an unspecified medical emergency that sent him to the hospital. Sources told TMZ that Mr. Norris remained in good spirits.
The action star turned 86 earlier this month, posting a video of himself training with a partner and writing, “I don’t age. I level up.”
Mr. Norris added, “I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.”
