OPINION:
Democrats continue to blather on about the War Powers Act, the loss of U.S. military lives in Iran and their reasons for defunding the Department of Homeland Security. Yet none of their narratives is close to the truth.
The Democrats alone are responsible for our military personnel being killed or injured to date and in the future.
When Iran was on the brink of financial collapse, President Obama provided it with billions of dollars. President Biden continued Iran’s access to U.S. money. Providing funding and protecting the world’s most egregious sponsor or terrorism and its proxies has resulted in thousands of innocent lives lost.
President Trump became aware of the threat of Iran having nuclear weapons and took necessary preemptive actions. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Sen. Rand Paul are either clueless or pathological liars.
Iran is a major threat, and Democratic and Republican members of Congress, all NATO countries and world democracies, and the media should support the actions to defeat and neutralize it.
As the threats from terrorists here increase because of Mr. Biden’s open border policies, which welcomed them, Democrats are hell-bent on defunding the Homeland Security Department.
In fact, Democrats including governors, mayors and uncooperative chiefs of police are the ones responsible for citizen life because they prevented U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from detaining the criminal illegal immigrants who killed them.
