The AI-generated “actress” whose search for a talent agent last year shook the entertainment industry is now hailing artificial intelligence in creative endeavors — via a music video, USA Today reports.
AI-generated character Tilly Norwood appears in a video promoting a positive view of artificial intelligence with the central message that the technology is powered by human creativity.
In the “Take the Lead” video, Tilly is shown performing in an arena, riding in a limousine and posing with pink flamingos. She also acknowledges the video’s lack of verisimilitude through gags, such as failing a CAPTCHA test.
The video opens with a disclaimer crediting 18 humans who helped produce it.
Tilly was created by Xicoia, the AI division of England-based production company Particle6.
