OPINION:
If you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem. Fox News doesn’t seem to understand that. Unlike the drive-by media, its job is to inform the public of what is happening, not to make it worse.
When Fox News sends someone to talk with people about how the increase in gas prices is affecting them, it should let them complain — and then inform the public. Does anyone remember the price of gas when Joseph R. Biden was in charge? Inform them of that price. Do you know why the price is going up now? Explain the facts to them — or would you prefer to act like the drive-by media?
How about Fox News showing what the Greatest Generation dealt with: gas and food rationing, not being able to purchase new tires and other hardships. The American people were not happy, but they understood these sacrifices would help the United States win World War II.
Show the public the videos of the chants in the streets of Iran: “Death to America,” “Death to Israel.” How about the Iranians bragging to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner about having enough uranium-235 to make 11 nuclear bombs?
Have the American people forgotten about the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in Israel? Fox News, you should educate the public. Don’t double down on what the mainstream press is doing: promoting misery because they have Trump derangement syndrome.
