OPINION:
Renee Nicole Good, a reported activist with ICE Watch, an organization that trains and equips its adherents to resist border agents during the execution of their duties, was shot and killed while protesting the federal crackdown on illegals in Minnesota. She leaves behind three children. The left is characterizing her death as a murder by ICE. And Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey raced to the press conference platform to tell ICE, as he so eloquently put it, to “get the f— out of our city.”
This is sad and unfortunate.
It’s sad and unfortunate that Good is dead at the youthful age of 37 and now her three children will be bereft of her presence. It’s also sad and unfortunate ICE agents were forced to shoot her.
This is what happens when leftists are allowed to live without accountability for too long. They forget their leftist lunacy is just that — lunacy — and they fail to recognize the right of the sane to uphold sanity.
They start to see their lunacy as normal and therefore insist on all of society upholding and playing into their lunatic ways.
For far too long, Democrats have sat idly by or outright applauded as socialists and communists and Marxists infiltrated their party, their political platforms, their policies. At the same time, they’ve removed God, they’ve embraced demonic ideals.
They’ve called for defunding of police, dismantling of police departments; of downsizing border patrol and destroying border protections; of summers of resistance and protests at political opponents’ places of business, places of entertainment and eating, places of residence. They’ve thrown bricks at police, rocks at border agents, Molotov cocktails at MAGAs — or paid for professional protesters to do so. They’ve prosecuted those who’ve stood in their way, to the point of unleashing the deep state to storm civilians’ homes in the middle of the night on charges that were later dropped. They’ve fabricated charges to bring down the president and his family and his followers, not once, not twice, but as an ongoing, yearslong campaign that stretches back to 2015.
They’ve used children — the ones they didn’t abort — as science experiments in an utterly ungodly and immoral transgender-fueled, LGBTQ-driven operation to destroy the traditional family unit. They’ve pushed their influences into the public school system and America’s places of higher learning so that what graduates into society is a consistent call for the crumbling of the Constitution and an angry demand for the overhaul of governance, by whatever means necessary; by whatever means available; even if those means bring violence.
So we have violence.
The streets are filled with angry mobs of leftists who’ve spent their entire lives being fed a steady diet of anti-American narratives.
They were never taught the exceptionalism of America — the concept of God-given rights and liberties — and why that core idea is the light that should be cherished.
They were never taught the virtues that are so necessary for a society where government is supposed to be limited in its scope.
They are, therefore, incapable of self-governance and see government as the solution to all, rather than the root of most problems. And happily, political leaders in the Democrat Party have cheered that thought and encouraged that way of thinking because it advances their own selfish ambitions for power and control.
So once again, we have violence.
Leftists are raging against ICE right now because they can’t believe they are finally being forced to face consequences and accountability for actions they have brought upon themselves. They’ve been able to run roughshod over the First Amendment and mask their violent, anti-American activities in the streets as civil rights for years with impunity. They’ve been able to disguise and cloak their violence in the constitutional protection to protest and assemble — all the while disregarding the actual words of the right as one to “peaceably” protest and assemble. They’ve been trained in the ways of Marxists and taught in the ways of collectivists and sent into the streets in the ways of communists — and now that there’s an administration that is actually enforcing law and common sense and constitutional order, they’re screaming in shock and awe, and acting out as if the law and common sense and order is out of line. Democrats in places of political power are only emboldening the acting out — to the misfortune of the left.
It’s not the Democrat political leaders, after all, who are getting killed.
It’s the minions Democrats have been manipulating all these many years.
ICE in the streets is a natural outcome of Democrats’ reckless failures to uphold border and police policy. And the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good is the sad but predictable outcome of Democrats’ years of railing against all-things-good, all-things-America, all-things-law-and-order. Democrats created this situation of chaos and disorder. It’s incumbent on them to take the first and necessary steps to quiet the chaos.
“Get the f— out of our city” is not a policy. It’s political theater. And it’s aimed only at drumming up more street theater to rage against America.
If Democrats want ICE gone and peace in their streets, Democrats need only fight against the leftist lunacy and partner with those of sane mind.
