OPINION:
President Donald Trump promised some months ago to withdraw America from the World Health Organization, and now he’s gone and done it — and now the globalists and their anti-MAGA Wendy Whiners in the media have kicked off the gloom and doom tour.
People will die! Pandemics will kill! Science will suffer!
Of course, such wild claims are utter nonsense.
Doctors and healers and physicians have been around a lot longer than the 78-year-old World Health Organization. It’s not as if the global organization invented health care. It’s not as if WHO has been the cure for all that medically ails humanity.
As Trump said in January of 2025 when he announced his intent to withdraw America: “The United States noticed its withdrawal from the World Health Organization in 2020 due to [its] mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, and other global crises, its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms, and its inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states.”
Trump withdrew America from WHO. Joe Biden, during his presidency, put America back in; now, once again, Trump’s withdrawing America. And his reasons for doing so are sound.
WHO has been to leftists and globalists in the medical and health arena what the IPCC and the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change have been in the environmental sector: a tool for wealth redistribution and control. Under Covid, the bureaucrats at WHO declared all that Trump did as a health disaster — if he shut down borders, it was disastrous health policy; if he kept open borders, it was disastrous health policy; if he partially shut borders it was racist and discriminatory disastrous health policy.
Meanwhile, WHO bowed to Bill Gates, one of the agency’s leading funders, and pushed the billionaire’s preferred narratives to the point where implicating China’s labs in the development of the virus, or discussing science that disagreed with the pro-vaccine crowd meant criticisms from the highest bureaucracy to the lowest. Big Tech booted. Social media censored. Big Pharma raked in the profits. And Gates, and WHO, and Marxists around the world, with their pals in America, like Anthony Fauci, and their minions in the media, to include the once-trusted-by-conservatives Fox News, sneered and patronized and scorned and berated anyone who preferred individual choice over collective controls.
WHO was a leading player in the Covid clamp-downs on liberty.
WHO was a leading voice in the “I am zee science” rhetoric, the one that required total and unquestioning obedience to government.
WHO was a leading participant in pressing for face masks — stupid — and shots-not-vaccines — dangerous — and stay-at-home orders that left youth out of school, adults out of work, and independent and free-minded patriots dependent on government for money to buy food and pay bills — devastating.
Withdraw America from WHO?
That’s a total pro-American citizen move.
Those who suggest differently only reveal themselves as part of the new world order way of thinking; that is, for a select few elites to exert total top-down controls on the citizens of the world.
“In my opinion,” said Lawrence Gostin, a public health law expert at Georgetown University, in The Associated Press, “it’s the most ruinous presidential decision in my lifetime.”
And by ruinous, he means freeing.
