OPINION:
I was a Trump supporter. That included making donations and buying and flying the fundraising flag. But something has changed with President Trump between then and now.
At present, one of Mr. Trump’s major problems, as I see it, is his obsession with Greenland and what he is threatening to do to get it.
Offering to purchase the country is one thing, but threatening military action against a NATO ally after it refuses his offer is another. Is he just so obsessed with Greenland that he is willing to do anything to acquire it, or is there another reason?
If you own a company, you can run it this way. If you run a government like this, it’s called a dictatorship.
Everyone knows that if the U.S. attacks Greenland, especially with additional NATO troops now in place, it would at the very least destroy NATO, which would benefit Vladimir Putin and his continuing conquest of other countries.
Since we already have a military base and treaties with Greenland and Greenland is part of NATO, why do we need to own it? It has a lot of rare earth minerals and diamonds. Is that the reason?
Supporting someone is one thing, but supporting him at any cost is another — especially if destabilization of the free world is at risk. It’s time for everyone to wake up.
