The nominees for the 2026 Golden Raspberry Awards, or Razzies, for the worst films of the year were announced Wednesday, including remakes of “War of the Worlds” and “Snow White.”

The five films in the running for the “$4.97 gold spray-painted Worst Picture Statuette” are Netflix’s “The Electric State;” “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” which features musician The Weeknd playing himself; Amazon Prime Video’s “War of the Worlds” starring rapper Ice Cube; Paramount+ TV spinoff film “Star Trek: Section 31,” and Disney’s live-action “Snow White.”

The directors of those five movies — brothers Anthony and Joe Russo for “The Electric State,” Marc Webb for “Snow White,” Olatunde Osunsanmi for “Star Trek: Section 31,” Rich Lee for “War of the Worlds” and Trey Edward Shults for “Hurry Up Tomorrow” — are all in the running for the Razzie for worst director.

The five films also are vying for worst screenplay. In total, “War of the Worlds” and “Snow White” lead the pack with six Razzie nominations each, followed by “Hurry Up Tomorrow” and “Star Trek: Section 31” with five and “The Electric State” at three.

The other nominations for “War of the Worlds” were for worst remake, a worst actor nod for Ice Cube and a worst on-screen combo nod for Ice Cube and his Zoom camera.

For “Snow White,” the other Razzie nominations were for worst remake and a worst supporting actors and worst on-screen combo nod for the film’s seven dwarves.

The additional nominations for “Hurry Up Tomorrow” are a worst actor nod for The Weeknd and a worst on-screen combo nod for “The Weeknd & His Colossal Ego.”

For “Star Trek: Section 31,” former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Michelle Yeoh got a nod for worst actress, while Kacey Rohl got a nomination for worst supporting actress.
