Dear Davos, there’s a new chief in town and his name is Trump

OPINION:

President Trump is going to Davos, Switzerland. He’s scheduled to speak Wednesday. And snap, like that, the whole global order — one world order — new world order — Great Reset crowd is a much quieter beast.

Trump ain’t like the last American president.

Here’s the money quote attributed to then-President Biden during his last address to the World Economic Forum at Davos, in January of 2017: “It’s imperative that we act urgently to defend the liberal international order,” the WEF posted.

Trump sings a different song entirely — and it’s one that makes the globalists of the world groan. The media are already reporting about it.

“EU clings to hope it can defuse Trump at Davos,” Politico.eu wrote.

“As Davos Convenes, Deference to Trump Has Replaced Everything,” The New York Times wrote.

The Times went on to write that “the traditional rhetoric of the World Economic Forum centered on global integration, climate change and international cooperation. Not anymore.”

Nope. Not anymore.

Trump, in January of 2025 and just days after his inauguration, gave a virtual address to the delegation and made clear his intent to focus on an “America First” agenda. Globalists didn’t like that — no, not one little bit. But at the time, he was new in office and his political enemies, i.e., the Democrat Party and pretty much all of Europe, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum crowd, figured the deep state would just come up with another Russia, Russia, Russia collusion charge to slow his MAGA roll and all his “America First” talk would just be that: talk.

But Trump 2 has proven to be a considerable political foe for these anti-America, anti-MAGA, anti-individual liberty forces. He’s managed to turn the tables on the George Soros types and MSNBC minions and Bill Gates-Anthony Fauci tyrants and not only closed borders, jailed and deported illegals, broke Big Pharma’s stranglehold, upset the corporate fake food market and blasted wide open the fake news that serves only the interests of their global, corporate, elitist overlords — but he’s also done all that while cutting peace deals between warring entities and cutting off countries from their cushy trade deals that have benefited them, but not America.

Yay, Team USA.

Trump’s bringing with him Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, along with Steve Witkoff, his Middle East special envoy, and Jared Kushner, a special adviser. In other words, the guys who are in charge of making international deals, both diplomatically and economically.

Gone are the days of Klaus Schwab and his cronies crying for the Great Reset — meaning, a global redefining of capitalism so that it mirrors more the Chinese model, meaning, communism, than the American model, meaning, genuine capitalism. Gone are the lofty calls for redistribution of wealth via climate change controls, zero-emission markets and cap-and-trade deals. Gone are the arrogant insistence that wealthier nations, that is, America, must pay even more, ever more, ever and ever more and more to the United Nations, to the European Union, to the fill-in-the-blank of global body, so as to make the international system fair and equitable and equal — and then stay quiet as these funds were used to abort babies or pay for transgender operations or pad dictators’ pockets.

Gone are those days.

“Trump will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos in person for the first time since 2020, bringing with him the ‘largest’ U.S. delegation yet,” CNBC wrote. “But some key figures are not on WEF’s attendance list, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Davos will this year be about who is going, rather than key topics, according to one WEF partner.”

Yes. Just as cockroaches stay in their corners and wait for the darkness to come, globalists hide when light is shone upon their agenda.

And if anything, Trump does bring the light.
