There’s a new privacy nightmare coming to town and it’s called whole genome sequencing of newborns — meaning, the collection and reading of all your baby’s DNA at birth to determine the potential of future health risks.
Imagine that information in the hands of the government. Or insurance companies. Or China.
As with all technology-driven products, it’s the data collection and storage that brings the largest threats. Who holds the keys to the data? Who controls the data is who controls how that data is used — and information on individual health is something that can be manipulated, exploited, marketed, sold, resold and used for some not-so-good reasons.
Leah Wilson, author of “Reclaim Vitality: A Guide to Exit Conventional Medicine and Live Naturally,” and the executive director of the Stand for Health Freedom organization, says parents need to be warned of the whole genome sequencing dangers before it’s too late and their children are forever tracked by government and corporate interests.
Tune in for more with Leah Wilson, to include discussion of how President Donald Trump is disrupting Big Pharma plans.
