As U.S.–Iran tensions spike, leaders on both sides must decide whether diplomacy can still pull them back from the brink.
We’re at a point now where Iran is killing thousands of its own people. Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon. Israel and the United States took some action to try to prohibit that last year, but there’s a lot going on there. And the United States has said, we would love to talk with you and try to make those things stop. Iran says, “Hey, you’ve had sanctions on us that are killing our economy. We’d love to see that stop.” What do you think the chances of A) any meaningful conversation, B) any resolution, and C) should we even be talking with them?
