Singer Barry Manilow is postponing his Las Vegas residency shows this month in order to focus on fully recovering from lung cancer surgery, multiple news outlets report.
Mr. Manilow, 82, was diagnosed in December following a bout of bronchitis and underwent surgery to remove the cancer, USA Today reports.
“I’m doing great and recovering very well after my surgery,” Mr. Manilow posted on Instagram. “I’ve been getting exercise and spending some time in the studio, which has been fantastic.”
Tickets for his Feb. 12-21 shows will be refunded or postponed for dates at the Las Vegas resort & Casino in March.
He plans to resume performances on Feb. 27 in Tampa, Florida.
