OPINION:
In this corner, stands New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, scaling back schools’ Gifted and Talented program for elementary-age students over concerns it’s discriminatory. In that corner, stand all those lunatic teachers in Minneapolis and Harlem and elsewhere who’ve been leading the little kids left by parents in their charge into radical, sign-wielding, slogan-shouting, anti-ICE public protest lines.
The left is coming for the children. And they’re coming hard.
The goal is to get the next generation of American voters trained in the good, Marxist way to go, and to get the next generation of American leaders, whether government, or business, or education, or military, or societal — all leaders — similarly trained. Then the Democrats’ vision for America will be complete.
Then the Democrats’ hopes for America’s future will be realized.
After all, in the minds of leftists, there wouldn’t be any problems in America if Republicans, and more specifically, MAGA-type Republicans, didn’t exist.
This is the left’s thinking about the chaos in Minneapolis right now. They blame the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for causing chaos because, as they see it, there were no protests in the streets until ICE came. So it must be ICE’s fault!
Leftists never look beyond their emotions. So they’re only one shift in wind away from changing their views. And with Minneapolis, no matter how many times it’s explained, and no matter how many times it’s explained in a most layman-like manner, leftists cannot get the fact the progression of events is this: Joe Biden, while president, left borders completely open and in so doing, allowed millions of migrants to enter the country illegally — many of whom were drug and human traffickers, gang and cartel members, murderers, rapists and thieves. Biden even used tax dollars to ship these illegals to parts north, east and west of the border with Mexico, and set them up with housing and food and etc., etc., etc.
Then Donald Trump was elected president, largely because of his promise to clamp down on the border and clear the communities across the nation of the illegals — deport, deport, deport was his signature slogan — and by logical extension, lower crimes. Trump has done that. Trump is doing that. But Democrats hate that Trump has done and is doing that, so they’re doing whatever they can to undo that.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, for instance, has compared Trump to Hitler and ICE to “Nazi forces.” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, for example, says ICE’s goal is to “cause chaos and disruption.” Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, for instance, has called ICE in the city a “federal invasion.”
People notice the rhetoric. People pay attention to the narrative. And sick, unhinged people actually use such narratives to justify the unleashing of even more vicious narratives, leading to physical assaults and cruel attacks, against law enforcement — against ICE.
“57 Times Sick, Unhinged Democrats Declared War on Law Enforcement,” the White House posted on Jan. 9.
But again, leftists never look beyond their emotions. They refuse to see how what’s taking place in Minneapolis and elsewhere in the nation with ICE is due entirely to Biden’s open border, leading to hikes in crime, leading to abuse of taxpayer dollars — see: Minneapolis Somali community social services scandal — and leading to this White House’s crackdown on lawlessness and attempt to restore law and order and controls at the border.
Some leftists are pure stupid and incapable of understanding the facts behind ICE’s current operations. Forgive them, for they know not what they do. They are the useful idiots of Communism 101.
But some are pure evil and use crime and lawlessness to gain political power and to destroy America.
This is the category in which Mamdani operates. This is the umbrella under which teachers sending kids into the streets to wave anti-ICE signs stand.
“As we suspected he might, newly minted democratic socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani — himself, a product of expensive private schools — has pledged to shut down the gifted and talented program, despite the fact that it has helped countless students from humble backgrounds achieve their full academic potential,” Sarah Parshall Perry, vice president and legal fellow at Defending Education, told Fox News Digital.
Specifically, Mamdani wants to bring an end to the Gifted and Talented programs until children reach third-grade status. In other words, the brightest of the bright have to stay dumbed down in kindergarten, first and second grades, so as to keep other kids — parents — from feeling bad. This is the socialist way: instill a fake sense of equality by limiting the potential of the high achievers; by making those who have high potential feel guilt and shame for desiring to achieve.
“New York preschool leads children in anti-ICE protest,” The Lion wrote.
“Video shows a group of 3-12-year-old and their teachers holding handmade signs reading things like ‘ICE Shutdown,’ and participating in an organized demonstration outside a Portland Montessori school,” a Facebook post on North Carolina Conservatives shows.
“Chloe Day School let kindergartners stage an anti-ICE, anti-Trump protest,” another Facebook post from Conservative Twins shows.
This is the Marxist way: instill the propaganda at the earliest age possible.
Education, to leftists, is not so much an opportunity for the individual as it is a weapon for war against individualism. Mamdani is doing this; teachers and day care providers are doing that; here a little, there a little, here a little more.
Suddenly, or seemingly suddenly, America is no more.
It’s important to see the acts of the left as a whole, as a movement, as a concerted and collective effort to destroy the nation and erase God-given freedoms. They’re not by chance. They’re not anomalies. They’re not coincidences.
Marxists and leftists and socialists and communists are today’s Democrats, and they’d love nothing more than to make their destructive goals easier by getting the children on board; by having them serve as willing participants in the takedown of their own country.
