OPINION:
I turned on my TV to watch the last day of the Olympics on Sunday only to learn that a 21-year-old man had been killed at Mar-a-Lago after refusing to lay down a shotgun he had pointed at two Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy (“Man killed after trying to enter Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun, gas can,” Web, Feb. 22).
I blame the Democratic anarchist “leadership” in Congress for another senseless death. They inspired this by demonizing President Trump and Trump supporters.
Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Reps. Maxine Waters and Jasmine Crockett, and a host of other Democratic miscreants have colluded and conspired to incite the mentally brainwashed into committing criminal acts, which have resulted in three of them being killed in recent memory.
The fact that none of the Democrats is being brought to justice under the law should give us all pause. They aren’t above the law just because they are politicians. They aren’t protected by the First Amendment’s free speech clause, and they’re certainly not doing their job working on behalf of the American people.
As an independent who voted for Democrats including Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton (on his second run), I will never vote for another Democrat again as long as they continue to spew their lies and hatred, turning people against one another to stay in power.
I can’t be the only one fed up with the Democrats not helping President Trump fix what they broke.
