Disney is building a Villains Land in Magic Kingdom. Why does this matter? It is a symptom of one of the things wrong in this world, especially among young people.

While watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics, the Israeli team was loudly booed by the crowd, obviously by fans of “Palestine.” Why would people root for the bad guys? These are terrorists who slaughtered more than 1,200 people, including babies and children, a few years back.

Of course, the booers are the same ones who defend illegal immigrants in this country — not just the families who made their way to the country to try to build a better life, but also rapists, child traffickers, drug dealers and murderers.

While I have no problem with Americans’ desire to root for the underdog (I am a West Virginia University fan, so I understand), this is no sports rivalry. Why would anyone root for criminals and terrorists, much less protect them and attack law enforcement in the process? Why would politicians do the same? Why release criminals back into society instead of handing them over to federal agents for deportation? It makes no sense to a rational person.

Then I remembered the news I had heard about Disney building a Villains Land. We’ve raised an entire generation of people who believe authority is bad and the villain is misunderstood. It’s part of an agenda to take law and order and family out of society and replace it with a dependence on government.

Think about whether you want to live in a world — and specifically, a nation — where Disney is building a Villains land.
