OPINION:
Kamala Harris got herself back into the news again last week, this time trying even harder to win your favor (“Harris’ ‘Kamala HQ’ relaunch fuels 2028 speculation,” Web, Feb. 5).
If Ms. Harris runs in the 2028 presidential race, she will probably (and hopefully) just be handing the presidency to her Republican opponent.
The thought of her running our country and dealing with the rest of the world is a frightening thought. President Biden was a puppet controlled by the Democratic Party for years because of his dwindling cognitive capacities. If Ms. Harris should somehow win the next election, she too will be a puppet controlled by her party because of her lack of foreign affairs and political sagacity and common sense.
The Democratic Party has already crumbled because poorly and wrongly elected leaders have focused so heavily on making ideological change. The party has been devoid of real American leadership for years.
Kamala Harris will never change a thing as president, except to hasten her party’s downfall. That is, if there is even a Democratic Party left in 2028.
