A surprising number of current and former NFL players showed up in police reports over Super Bowl weekend — some as crime victims and others as accused perpetrators.

The post-Super Bowl 60 glow faded fast early Monday in San Francisco when 49ers defensive lineman Keion White was shot while hosting an afterparty at a nightclub.

A police report said he was shot in the ankle after he got into a spat with rapper Lil’ Baby at about 4 a.m. Monday.

The heated exchange reportedly started after the rapper unsuccessfully tried to gain entry to the player’s private section that featured a party full of scantily clad women, according to the report.

A witness who observed the heated exchange told police that they left to alert management about the altercation. Two shots rang out moments later.

“Any violent incident in our city is unacceptable, and I’m hoping Keion recovers quickly. I’ve spoken with SFPD and 49ers leadership — we are all grateful to our SFPD officers for their quick response,” San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie wrote on X. “As always, I will continue working with San Francisco law enforcement to ensure our neighborhoods and our residents are safe.”

Police have not arrested a suspect in the incident that saw the lineman taken to the hospital. The victim did not cooperate with investigators when asked for information about the gunman, authorities said.

On Saturday, Atlanta Falcons defensive end James Pearce Jr. was arrested in Florida after he was accused of ramming his girlfriend’s car and then leading police on a high-speed chase.

Miami-Dade County prosecutors said the 22-year-old player followed his girlfriend, WNBA player Rickea Jackson, in his SUV until the two reached a stoplight.

The football player is accused of getting out of his car at the light and trying to open the door to his girlfriend’s vehicle.

The woman sped off toward the Doral Police Department, prosecutors said, with her NFL boyfriend in pursuit in his car. Police said he repeatedly rammed the back of her car during the chase.

As the vehicles approached the police station, court documents said, Pearce surged ahead, swerved in front and hit the woman’s car head-on.

Police responded to the incident and an officer drew his firearm on Pearce, who was again out of his SUV and trying to open his girlfriend’s car door.

The filing said Pearce ignored commands to get on the ground and instead got back in his car. He allegedly yanked his door closed and locked it when the officer walked up to the SUV to try and pull him out.

Prosecutors said Pearce then drove his vehicle at the officer and hit his left knee while fleeing arrest.

The NFL player crashed his car in an intersection during the ensuing chase, tried to flee on foot but was quickly tracked down by officers.

The young NFL star faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery of a police officer and stalking. He posted a $20,500 bond Sunday night and was released from jail.

Court documents said Lee was at Gabriella Perpetuo’s home in Hamilton County when sheriff’s deputies made it to the crime scene.

Lee told law enforcement that he found his girlfriend lying unconscious on the couch, and that he believed she fell in the shower.

But authorities said Lee had injuries indicative of a physical struggle, and that there was blood in different parts of the house and broken glass in the kitchen.

The filing said it appeared Lee had tried to clean the home before deputies arrived.

Lee was a first-round draft pick for the New York Jets in 2016 and played for the organization for three seasons. He had brief stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders until he exited the NFL in 2021.

Lee’s next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
