Pop singer Chappell Roan has decided to leave her talent agency over revelations that its CEO had multiple email exchanges with convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell, Rolling Stone reports.

The revelations about Casey Wasserman, CEO of the Wasserman Talent Agency, came in the latest release of Department of Justice files on late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, Maxwell’s former boyfriend.

Ms. Roan posted Monday on Instagram that she holds her team to the highest standard and has a duty to protect them.

“No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values,” the “Pink Pony Club” singer posted.

Her departure comes after several artists have decided to distance themselves from the agency amid the ongoing investigation.

Mr. Wasserman had assured executives in 2024 that “nothing else” would come out regarding his connection to Epstein and Maxwell, Rolling Stone reports.
