OPINION:
Birthrights are a big part of what Peter Schweizer writes about in his recent book, “The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon.”
In the book, Mr. Schweizer documents how mass migration is being used to take over the United States. This migration continues to come from countries such as Cuba, Mexico, China and Somalia.
Unlike the Irish, Italians, Eastern Europeans and others who came to America during the mass migration of the late 1800s and early 1900s, most of the more recent migrants are not very interested in assimilating, learning English or respecting our culture.
In this regard, Mr. Schweizer has uncovered an incredible amount of disturbing information. There is not enough space in this letter to tell about all he has discovered. Let’s just look at the migration from Mexico.
For most Mexicans, coming to America is part of the “Reconquista” (Reconquest) to regain control of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, lands that the Mexican elite consider occupied.
Learning English is not important to these migrants. Thanks to their Democratic advocates, almost everything — especially getting a driver’s license and voting — can be done in Spanish.
Every effort is being made to stop assimilation in these communities. Mr. Schweizer reports that “about one million textbooks are sent to the United States each year” for use by Mexican children in American schools. These books do not reflect the American culture. Instead, they present the Mexican version of history.
One of the past presidents of Mexico claimed authority over the 40 million (his number) people in the U.S. who are of Mexican ancestry. Last year, Mexico’s current president, Claudia Sheinbaum, added the song “Somos Mas Americanos” (We are More American) to her events, which speaks to Mexico’s claim that a good part of our country really belongs to the Mexicans.
Sad to say, but all these efforts are being helped by democratic socialists in the U.S. who call for open borders. Instead, we should be making English the official language of this nation.
