OPINION:
Another April 15 tax deadline has come and gone, though I can’t help but wonder how many of those who owe the IRS waited until the last minute to file their tax returns or turned to a “tax-relief” agency for help.
Just imagine if the IRS would deduct a small percentage of taxes owed to those who sent their tax returns before April 15. It would be a good incentive to file early, and the IRS would probably collect more money.
It might even put businesses such as Optima Tax Relief out of business for good. Win, win.
