President Trump has had his name slapped onto grandiose buildings, institutions and golf courses, and his international eponyms are growing.

A Romanian mayor is building a park — with Mr. Trump front and center — to celebrate the semiquincentennial of the U.S. and mark the “strengthening of relations between the Romanian and American communities.”

Daniel Baluta, mayor of Sector 4 in Bucharest, announced on social media Tuesday that his community can “become part of a global story of friendship and respect between nations.”

While the U.S. celebrates 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, “we too will be able to mark that in a special way,” he said.

“The new park, which we are setting up next to Tudor Arghezi Park, will celebrate this important moment and will bear the name of the current President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, as a symbol of friendship and common values that unite us,” he added.

The mayor said he recently met with the American special envoy Paolo Zampolli and the new U.S. ambassador to Romania, Darryl Nirenberg, to discuss “collaboration and connections between our communities.”

The Trump Organization, managed by the president’s sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., announced plans for multiple developments in the country last year, including Trump Tower Bucharest.

“This initiative marks the official debut of the Trump brand in Romania and reaffirms The Trump Organization’s commitment to the global expansion strategy of its portfolio of luxury residential, hospitality and golf projects, in line with its international growth strategy,” the announcement reads.

Mr. Trump’s moniker is on everything from Washington’s premier performing arts venue to government initiatives, including Trump Accounts and TrumpRx, and even warships.

His name will appear on airport signage after a law was passed in March to turn the Palm Beach International Airport into the President Donald J. Trump International Airport.

His signature may also make its way into many Americans’ wallets via a $1 coin and paper currency.

Internationally, Mr. Trump’s name is branded on luxury hotels, residential towers and golf courses, including sites in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Scotland and several locations in Asia.
