OPINION:
Horrible Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and corrupt Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson should be rotting in jails of unspecified locations as they have both been openly inciting physical violence against federal troops. Both are very likely so fiercely resisting help because of their highly illegal and profitable criminal partnerships with gangs and cartels.
The Justice Department and FBI must be much aggressive in arresting internal, dire threats to national security — and the U.S. Secret Service needs new leadership today. Its sniper squad is like a kindergarten brigade; Director Sean Curran is not the answer to the agency’s problems.
The grave lapse that is the disarray in the Secret Service must be dealt with and solved forthwith. It is a disgrace and a direct threat to the president and his family and associates. Why is the Secret Service not in touch with all potential, loyal, top-caliber sniper units in the nation to find talent? And why are we not looking for a new director who supports President Trump?
Our commander in chief makes his picks based in large part on loyalty, but excellence is usually key — and the two are not always compatible.
