An interesting outcome from the assassination of Charlie Kirk is that churches around the country are reporting increases in attendance — especially among the youth.
J.P. De Gance, founder of Communio, an organization that helps train and equip churches to better evangelize, said it’s obvious the Holy Spirit is working through the tragedy.
“We’re getting reports from all over the country, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Douglas County out there in Colorado — a very secular town —where there’s a real discernible bump up in Sunday attendance, particularly among young people … the Gen Z demographic,” De Gance said.
Lasting or trend?
That’s the question, he said.
It depends if pastors have a “plan of action” to keep them engaged into the future, he said.
