I strongly endorse Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears for Virginia governor and want to share my reasons. Mrs. Earle-Sears is a gracious, tough, smart, principled leader who practices what she preaches and knows that strong families are good for children and society.

We all know it is hard to keep our families together and on the right path in life.

Mrs. Earle-Sears is alert to the dangers our children and families face today, often (intentionally or not) because of the policies of the political left. Those policies endanger communities when criminals are not held accountable and victims never see justice. They force union membership on workers who don’t want to join or pay union dues. They also endanger our girls when they are forced to share bathrooms and sports teams with biological males who are physically stronger.

The policies of the left have long discouraged family formation and have weakened family units. Now they are usurping parental authority and seemingly considering all children to be wards of the state who are in need of pervasive, insidious messaging on sex practices and sex changes. This often includes keeping secrets from parents.

Mrs. Earle-Sears rightly calls this out and says it must end. Most parents agree, even if they are afraid to say so publicly for fear of ostracism in deep-blue areas like Alexandria, Virginia. Fortunately, votes are private.

The policies of the left are even more egregious to the Black community. Our families were more publicly and intentionally torn apart in our nation’s past, even here in Alexandria, until President Lincoln stepped in and said, “No more.” Now, it will take Mrs. Earle-Sears to say “No more” to the damage to our children and families.
