The Berlin Marathon had a secret star racing on Sunday: English singer and songwriter Harry Styles. The avid runner finished the race in under three hours, according to multiple reports.

The 31-year-old, who became famous as a teenager with the boy band One Direction, completed the course in 2 hours, 59 minutes and 13 seconds. Styles sported a headband and sunglasses while donning the pseudonym “Sted Sarandos” to avoid the spotlight on Sunday.

Berlin residents and journalists had already spotted him running in the air earlier in the week, though, according to The Associated Press.

Styles finished 524th in the men’s over-30 age group.

After the race, he posed for a picture with two-time Paralympic gold medalist Richard Whitehead, who also completed the marathon.

“2.58 in Berlin with my mate!! Anyone know him,” Whitehead wrote in an Instagram post that clearly identified Styles.

The pop star, whose solo career has included hits like “Watermelon Sugar” and “As It Was,” also ran the Tokyo Marathon earlier this year.

In Berlin, Kenya’s Sabastain Sawe led all runners as he finished the marathon in 2 hours, 2 minutes and 16 seconds. Rosemary Wanjiru, also from Kenya, led the women with a time of 2 hours, 21 minutes and 5 seconds.
