The Philadelphia Eagles are leaning into the “Tush Push” after several teams unsuccessfully tried to ban the quarterback sneak this offseason. On Tuesday, DUDE Wipes became the “official presenting partner of the Tush Push.”

The Eagles have been running the unique play for years. Quarterback Jalen Hurts takes the snap and — with the help of several teammates in the backfield shoving him forward by his rear — inches toward the goal line or first-down marker.

No other team in the NFL has found the same success with sneaks, making the play a trademark of the Eagles, who used it in championship form last season. Now the reigning champions are playing into the play — and its silly name.

“It only feels right for DUDE Wipes to be the official sponsor of the Tush Push,” Ryan Meegan, co-founder of the flushable wipes, said in a statement. “We’re always looking for bold and unconventional ways to inject the brand into cultural conversations in a distinctly DUDE-ified way, and this partnership is a perfect fit.”

The collaboration will feature free DUDE Wipe samples at team events, shared social content between the two brands and postgame radio hits detailing the day’s successful “Brotherly Shoves.”

“DUDE Wipes has built one of the most successful and marketable brands in the industry by combining innovation, creativity and humor,” said Brian Napoli, the Eagles’ senior vice president of corporate partnerships. “We are thrilled to welcome DUDE Wipes as a partner of the Philadelphia Eagles and look forward to having fun with their brand, both on and off the field, this season.”

The Eagles open the NFL season on Thursday night at home against the Dallas Cowboys.
