President Trump announced on his Truth Social platform his intent to designate Antifa a terrorist organization and to launch an investigation into those who fund the group for possible criminal prosecution.

On the latter — that’s easy. Just look at the Democrat Party’s paperwork. First, Antifa. Next up: the Democrat Party. In terms of promoting and emboldening and fostering violence, and committing acts of violence, the distance separating the two can be measured in millimeters, not miles.

Here’s what Trump wrote: “I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. patriots that I am designating Antifa, a sick, dangerous, radical left disaster, as a major terrorist organization. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding Antifa be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practice. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

That he posted the announcement on Constitution Day is all the more significant.

Of Antifa, City Journal, the publication of the Manhattan Institute, wrote this in May 2024: “A Slush Fund for Radical Protesters? The [Joe] Biden administration’s massive program of ‘environmental justice’ grants appears designed to empower extremist groups.” The piece went on to report how the $3 billion in the recent Inflation Reduction Act that was earmarked for local nonprofits for environmental causes turned into funding for “hundreds of far-left political groups” that included language like “climate justice” in their mission statements, so as to tap into the funds.

“If just a fraction of planned grants flows to such groups,” City Journal reported, “the effect will be a gusher of new funding for radial causes.”

Indeed.

Environmentalism is just one tool.

“As the Gaza protests spread across U.S. college campuses, many observers noted an eerie uniformity among them,” City Journal wrote.

Follow the money.

“In a remarkable work of reporting,” City Journal wrote, “Park MacDougald recently traced the tangled roots of organizations backing pro-jihad protests, both on and off campuses. These include Antifa and other networks of anonymous anarchists, along with ‘various communist and Marxist-Leninist groups, including the Maoist Revolutionary Community Party, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), and the International ANSWER coalition,’ MacDougald writes.”

Follow the money even more.

Tech executives, the uber-wealthy and several foundations — all tied. Among: the Ford Foundation and the Tides Foundation, backed by, drumroll please, ba dum da dum, George Soros.

And now Trump has also threatened to investigate Soros and his son, Alexander, for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, or RICO, Act. Good. Get ‘em all.

Go after ‘em all.

Destroying the structures of America is not a First Amendment freedom. It’s sedition. And when two or more unite in plans to destroy the structures of America, especially when force is involved, it’s a conspiracy to commit sedition.

Enter Antifa.

Read Andy Ngo’s book, “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy,” to find out more about the thuggish, brutish designs of Antifa members.

Read the Democrats’ own stated desires to find out how very similar they are in intent to Antifa.

“Resistance Summer” was a Democratic National Committee initiative that kicked off in 2017, and was wholeheartedly embraced by then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. It was the Democrats’ special warning to Trump and all of MAGA’s movers and shakers to let them know that wherever they went, whatever they did, leftists would be watching, listening — and resisting.

Rep. Maxine Waters in 2018 called for the harassment of Trump officials. Sen. Chuck Schumer in 2020 threatened to “unleash the whirlwind” at certain U.S. Supreme Court justices. Democrats controlling Seattle stood idly by as hundreds of thugs took over blocks and created a police-free zone — the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ.

“Domestic terrorists have taken over Seattle, run by radical left Democrats, of course,” Trump tweeted at the time.

Of course.

It’s always Democrats.

Whether it’s Marxists or communists or socialists or Antifa or Black Lives Matter or “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” or Occupy Wall Street — all roads lead back to the Democrats.

Labeling Antifa a terrorist organization is a good start.

But then it might be worthwhile to take a look at the Democrat Party as a whole and see if the label applies similarly.
