People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Calling someone a bad name will not persuade them to come to your side; it only shows your ignorance.

A socialist who calls a conservative Hitler is a perfect example of this ignorance, as Josef Stalin, a socialist, made Adolf Hitler, a monster, look almost benign. Where Hitler, a Nazi, killed 10 million innocent people, Stalin, the socialist, killed about 20 million innocent people.

Calling a conservative a fascist is also ridiculous. It was Benito Mussolini who invented fascism (an economic system), and although he was a terrible dictator, he was never accused of murdering large groups of innocent people. He got a bad name primarily because he was an ally of Hitler.

Furthermore the word Nazi is a shortened form of the German word Nationalsozialist, the National Socialist German Workers Party.

If you ask people who call others “Hitler,” “Nazi” or “fascist” to describe what those movements were, they probably can’t, again showing their ignorance and defeating their argument.
