OPINION:
A recent email from a prominent conservative figure’s chief operating officer goes like this: “I’m writing to ask you to join me in backing our security needs for … our team” — “we need to raise an initial $24,000” — “please donate.” The explanation? “Charlie’s murder opened my eyes to what [my boss] has repeated publicly and privately for years — his price is his life,” the email went on.
Making money off Charlie Kirk’s murder.
It just doesn’t seem right.
On one hand, yes, it’s true — leftists are nuts and they’re quite willing to gun down political opponents if that’s what it takes to silence dissenting views. Democrats and their minions in the field, from Antifa-types to Black Lives Matter-types to radical environmentalist-types to abortion-loving-types — they’re all part of the same brick-throwing, Molotov cocktail-tossing mindsets, the kind who think they’re doing the good work of their lord, known to the sane world as Satan, by violently destroying MAGA types. The heavily medicated loons of the left believe deeply in the power of the screaming blue-haired freak and cross-dressing man with a five o’clock shadow and pink sandals with matching handbag to stifle the voices of those they dislike — of those who dare to call out their lunacies. And they all share one common feature: fight, fight, fight to the finish — and then fight even more — because to them, there is no afterlife, no higher source of accountability, no reason to live except for political wins and the chance to feed to flesh.
On one hand, yes, Democrats cause the insecure situations that shadow conservatives, MAGAs, Christians, America-loving patriots and all those who want to live in peace.
We know this.
On the other hand — we know this. We’ve known this.
It’s not as if Kirk’s murder wasn’t the first sign of the unhinged minds the Democrats have carefully fostered and bred and unloosed on an innocent public for years now. It’s Democrats who’ve jacked up the violent rhetoric. It’s Democrats who’ve told boys they can become girls, and in so doing, created a world of fantasy that has confused the youth and led the country down a path of living a lie. Oh, what a tangled web we weave, right? One lie plus another lie plus another lie equals a world of lies — the playground of the Great Deceiver himself.
It’s Democrats who’ve demanded thugs be given their First Amendment rights to storm troop and track political opponents wherever they be — in restaurants, at work, at home. It’s Democrats who’ve called for summers of resistance, the unleashing of whirlwinds, the forced removal of Donald Trump, the shutdown of all those “Nazi” conservatives.
Add to that the breakdown of the family unit — all due Democrats’ policies.
Add to that the destruction of manhood and what it means to be a man — all due Democrats’ policies.
Add to that the massive surge of foreigners purposely and strategically brought into America, all with the expectation that government exists to provide for them, cradle to grave, and the accompanying upset to law and order and societal upheaval that open borders bring — all due Democrats’ policies.
More importantly, add to that the Democrats’ preference for a godless, secular society, where the will of the individual prevails over the strict boundaries of the Constitution, and where an ‘anything goes’ sort of atmosphere dominates.
And what do you get?
You get a large portion of the population fueled by Democrats to believe in violence as an expression of proper dissent.
Trump was almost murdered twice, for goodness sake.
In other words: All the signs of a mentally unstable left have been with us for years. So to fundraise now, on the heels of Kirk’s murder, pointing to the fears that are coming from a certain element of society — well, that doesn’t seem so much a reaction to sudden radicalism as exploitation of the moment.
