OPINION:
Rep. Maxine Waters, California Democrat, is at it again with another worthless, gasbag showstopper: the idea of employing the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from the Oval Office and have his mental acuity tested to see whether he remains fit to hold office.
Ms. Waters’ office has not yet responded to an inquiry about the absence of such action on her part when nationally known mental incompetent Joseph R. Biden was the resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Fair-minded observers are wondering whether the congresswoman ought not herself undergo CT scans to assess the percentage of her brain mass that is devoted to lost causes and self-serving adventures.
Ms. Waters and her kind (think Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) spend more time promoting themselves than serving their districts, so it’s no mystery why voters, by historical numbers, find Congress worthless, useless and dangerous. This trifecta of characteristics surely has our Founding Fathers spinning in their graves. Those men never imagined such criminally negligent, ignorant elected government officials holding office. Hence the lack of safeguards.
Fasten your seat belts; it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
