OPINION:
It is truly surreal to see elected officials continue to support someone calling for the outright murder of their opponent, his children and his wife. Jay Jones did so, yet he continues to be supported in his quest to be Virginia’s next chief law enforcement officer.
We see many of same elected leaders promote a candidate for mayor of New York City who is against law enforcement, promotes Hamas and its genocidal goals, and advances communist ideology.
It should be unbelievable to think that elected officials would enable more than 20 million to 30 million people to break our laws and invade our country and then use every means possible to stop others from enforcing the very laws that they passed. Some of the same elected officials charged or assaulted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and the homeland security secretary. These elected officials took the same oath to defend and protect our Constitution as ICE agents, who enforce the laws they passed, yet label those agents Nazis, fascists or Gestapo.
The labeling led to a follower recently trying to kill ICE agents at a Dallas facility. Instead, two illegal aliens were murdered. Portland, Chicago, Memphis and other major cities see multiple murders and shootings weekly, yet the elected officials in charge label those who seek to end the violence, murders, assaults, arson and anarchy as fascists or dictators.
These elected leaders did not condemn either of the two assassination attempts on President Trump, nor the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brent M. Kavanaugh. The deafening silence signaled silent acquiescence for future attempts. Their rhetoric and actions likely influenced the assassinations of Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska. We can expect more.
The same elected officials support no cash bail and release of felons, rapists, murderers and drug dealers. They provide sanctuaries for illegals, and despite multiple criminal convictions, forbid any assistance to deport them. These elected officials cheered the weaponization of our national security elements to arrest, intimidate, bankrupt and spy on innocent Americans. They passed appropriations in the billions of dollars to censor Americans and fund nongovernmental organizations and others to advance false narratives, propaganda and an anti-American agenda.
The slow but sure progress in taking control, compromising and then abusing local, state and federal organizations, authorities or positions is what advanced the creation of the former Soviet Union, Fidel Castro’s Cuba, Nicolas Maduro’s Venezuela and communist China. The patterns mimic the history of these countries, resulting in the destruction of freedom, the murders of hundreds of millions and the advancement of tyranny.
The tactics, narratives, labeling and promotion of radical violence by a minority to subjugate the majority is nothing new, but few understand that history and fewer have lived it. These elected officials are seizing on a gap in understanding history as an opportunity to revise and apply old tactics, techniques, narratives and bankrupt utopian ideologies to seize the power they have lost.
Americans voted in 2024 to end the anarchy, violence, murders and assaults, abuse of power and rampant illegal invasion of our country. The elected officials who lost that election were on the cusp of obtaining their ultimate goal: absolute power. The loss was an unexpected shock, like the one in 2016. They made sure the election of 2020 was set, staged and served to advance their efforts. They moved too fast and harshly, leading to the unveiling of their corruption, abuse of power, weaponization of government and obscene spending to advance anti-American ideologies, policies and organizations.
Americans’ realization of what was happening sent their brand into a death spiral. So, what to do?
Terrorism is increasing in America before our eyes, and it will continue to get worse. That fact is indisputable because the terrorism is being purposefully aided and abetted by elected or appointed leaders, an insurrectionist judiciary and complicit members of law enforcement.
These elected and other leaders are leveraging several elements to advance their agenda. The number of illegals is so large and resistance to their removal so extreme that Americans will see little change for decades. They are condemning and resisting the use of force against the foreign terrorists, the drug cartels who are murdering 100,000 Americans each year, and domestic terrorists such as antifa as they serve as their front line to advance resistance, anarchy and terror.
What Americans must understand is that these are purposeful decisions to expand, extend, promote and incite greater violence, anarchy and terror. This is a blood revolution to usurp power and regain what they lost in 2024. It is a blood revolution, as we see the left increasing its use of terrorism, assassination, anarchy and assault to advance a lawless society toward its ultimate goal: absolute power. The blood being spilled is that of innocents, as it is viewed merely as necessary collateral damage in their quest.
There is no moral equivalency to what we see the Democratic Party doing to America. We have a choice. We still have a vote. We can neutralize this terror, or we can be neutralized. The choice is ours.
