OPINION:
On “The View” last week, New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani proclaimed not to be a communist.
By the way, a smiling, quite affable Fidel Castro in 1959 likewise blathered on “Meet the Press” that he was not a communist, and we see how that one turned out.
Mr. Mamdani is, as Castro was, a communist. If it quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, then it’s a duck! Mr. Mamdani is a quacking Marxist-Leninist duck if ever there was one.
This clown has never held a position of leadership in anything, whether in the public or private sector. He was lousy during his time as a member of the New York Assembly. His legislative attendance record — i.e., his constant absences — was a joke.
The people of New York City are about to elect this guy as mayor. Are you kidding? With the aid of Gov. Kathy Hochul, this guy will turn the city into a bankrupt, communist enclave. Have New Yorkers lost their minds to have even given this guy a public forum in the first place, let alone the position of mayor?
Only the rat population will thrive during Mr. Mamdani’s time in office. So when his government stores go bankrupt and shelves become depleted of food, I hope the New Yorkers who voted for him enjoy their cooked-over-an-open-fire rat stew.
