OPINION:
With just days to go before the New York City mayoral election, New Yorkers are facing two forms of political and societal suicide. One is named Zohran Mamdani; the other is named Andrew Cuomo.
Every hollow word and empty promise from these two blatherskites reinforces the fact that both represent an existential threat to New York and beyond. Their solipsistic dispositions recall a partial quote from George Eliot: “Blessed is the man who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact.” New York must save itself from disaster.
