OPINION:
It seems to me that the political left only cares about our troops when service members have died (“Pentagon confirms anonymous $130 million donation from Trump ‘friend’ to pay troops,” Web. Oct. 24).
The leftists are seething that someone had the gall, the audacity, to be patriotic and donate his money so out military could get paid. Why do they hate this anonymous donor? Because they want the Trump administration to suffer and they want to make people miserable so those people latch onto their hatred.
The left only cares about getting votes and staying in power, and its members will undertake any despicable, horrible act to do so. The whole reason for this shutdown: They want illegals to have health care because the illegals are their new voter base. But they are losing their new base everyday through the lawful efforts of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other law enforcement agencies — so they’d better find new groups to lure in with their vitriol.
Meanwhile, they stick with illegals. To hell with the military or government employees getting paid, their actions say; vote left and we’ll turn the money back on to pay you.
