OPINION:
President Trump, as rebarbative as he is, is the only American of note in these times who could have stopped the woke revolution inaugurated by the Democratic Party.
The politics of personal identity without merit, the social justice warfare without balance, and the intersectionality tying the country in argumentative knots and injustice was fostered by the groupthink of liberals facilitated by the Obama-Biden “leading from behind” ethos.
There is not a single other individual who could have weathered the storm of partisan political and media abuse Mr. Trump has endured while savoring the battle, apparently understanding that, although an unlikely hero, he is just what these times demand.
Not only so our country can right itself, but also so the world can follow a strong leader into peace where so many have faltered. Success is not assured, but perhaps, just maybe, some Democrats will grant a modicum of respect.
