Streaming service Spotify is bringing its in-house video podcasts to Netflix starting in early 2026.

The initial offering of video podcasts includes nine sports shows and four culture and lifestyle productions associated with The Ringer, a website owned by Spotify since 2020.

Three other Spotify Studios video podcasts, one focused on music and two on true crime, will also go up on Netflix.

Spotify said it also “plans to bring similar opportunities to a wider range of creators” down the road.

Gustav Soderstrom, co-president of Spotify, said video podcasts have grown 20 times faster than audio alternatives and that 350 million users streamed a video podcast via Spotify through the second quarter of fiscal 2025, a 65% year-over-year increase.
