Monumental Sports, the owners of the Washington Mystics, Wizards and Capitals, announced a new radio deal on Monday morning. The three teams’ games will air live on 106.7 The Fan through a renewed partnership with Audacy.

The Fan was already the flagship station for Capitals broadcasts. Now the network will also air Wizards and Mystics games through a multi-year deal with Monumental. Select games will air on The Fan’s sister stations, The Team 980 and 99.1 WDCH, when there are scheduling conflicts.

Through the deal, the Monumental Sports Network will also simulcast two of The Fan’s daily radio shows. The popular “Sports Junkies” show will continue to air through Monumental on weekday mornings. The afternoon show “BMitch and Finlay,” which features former NFL return man Brian Mitchell and longtime broadcaster JP Finlay, will join the Junkies on Monumental.

“Being the flagship station for the Wizards and Capitals solidifies our position as the top destination for D.C. sports fans,” said Ivy Savoy-Smith, senior vice president and market manager for Audacy’s operations in the District. “Through the expansion of our television simulcast, we are creating more dynamic content for our audiences.”

The Monumental Sports Network is currently available as a standalone streaming app or through services like Roku, DIRECTV and Apple TV. The network is currently unavailable on YouTube TV due to an ongoing coverage dispute.

“If YouTube TV is serious about serving its subscribers in the DMV region, it should come back to the table,” Friday Abernethy, the general manager of Monumental Sports Network, said in a statement last month. “Monumental remains committed to our fans. We invite YouTube TV to do the same.”
