OPINION:
I believe President Trump is more concerned with winning the Nobel Peace Prize than he is in assisting Ukraine with remaining a democracy and keeping freedom and liberty for its people (“Territory concessions remain a major sticking point after U.S.-Ukraine peace talks,” Web, Nov. 24).
Vladimir Putin has played Mr. Trump like a poorly tuned fiddle, which explains why our commander in chief never addresses Mr. Putin’s multiple war crimes, committed with his orders to the Russian army and air force to attack a nation with which Russia was not at war. Russia under Mr. Putin has attacked schools, hospitals and churches; all are war crimes.
Why are we negotiating with Mr. Putin and his commanders instead of making them face trial?
Is impeachment the answer to the solution to our problem?
