President Trump has been a busy bee of foreign policy of late, forging peace and economic deals while upholding America First principles. Among his targeted countries: Israel. China. Saudi Arabia — and more.
But if religious freedom were to be a standard of business dealings, then the question emerges: Is America and America’s allies on a safe path for long-term liberty?
As Troy Miller, CEO of National Religious Broadcasters, said: Not all these countries America is dealing with are willing to set aside worldviews — religious-based, Islam-based worldviews — for economic opportunities.
America might want to tread cautiously when it comes to wheeling and dealing with governments that put ideology before personal freedom. Another way to look at it: George Washington, in his farewell address, did warn about entangling foreign alliances.
Tune in as Troy Miller talks about recent trips to Israel and Nigeria, and also outlines concerns with U.S.-Qatar relations, and more.
