OPINION:
President Donald Trump welcomed newly elected mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, into the White House for a conversation — and the takeaway moment was of Trump sitting at his desk, hands folded, looking at Mamdani standing politely next to him, hands crossed. Hands crossed like a good little socialist servant.
That is as it should be. The capitalist sits; the communist stands.
To give it a biblical twist: Mamdani is about as big an abomination in America’s political world as can be. It’s like watching the devil in church. How can a socialist — any socialist — swear allegiance to the Constitution while espousing socialist values?
“The pair say they look forward to working on affordability,” BBC wrote in live posts of the meeting.
“We agree on a lot more than I would have thought,” Trump said, after the meeting.
Yes.
Trump agrees Mamdani is a “100 percent communist lunatic.” And as Trump said: “We agree.” Mamdani , meanwhile, agrees Trump is president.
A reporter at the meeting asked Mamdani why he flew to the White House meeting, rather than take a greener route, like a train — or a donkey, also known as a three-letter word much more befitting his station. And Mamdani responded by saying: In 12 years the earth will explode if we don’t kill all the cows! Then he handed out Cuban cigars to all his friends in the media, and said he knew a guy who could get many more.
Trump was asked by a journalist if he’d feel comfortable living in New York City “under a Mamdani administration,” and Trump responded, “Yes, I would, I really would, especially after [this] meeting, absolutely.” And then he laughed and he laughed, and we laughed and he laughed and Mamdani mounted his donkey and smoked his Cuban cigar.
A reporter asked Mamdani, who was alongside Trump at the time of the question, if he still thought Trump was a “fascist.” And Trump, as only Trump would do, tapped Mamdani on the arm and said, “You can just say yes.” Go on, Zohran. Do it. So Mamdani did; he said, “Okay, yes.”
Good boy.
Earlier in the day, the House passed a resolution with the backing of some Democrats denouncing the “horrors of socialism.” It was H.Con. Res. 58 and it was introduced by Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar from Florida and of socialism, she said this: “Socialism is a lie. It has never delivered justice or equality, only fear, censorship, poverty and broken nations. I represent thousands of families who fled their homelands because socialist regimes promised paradise and delivered prisons.”
Rep. Lisa McClain, Republican conference chair, meanwhile, said this: “The Mamdani socialist agenda is seeping into our country like poison. Republicans won’t let it take root. … We will never bow to socialism.”
Nope. Never.
Socialism is an abomination to humanity and is one and the same as progressivism, and Marxism, and democratic-socialism, and communism — that is to say, it’s all collectivism; it’s all anti-Americanism; it’s all anti-individualism. It rots the soul and steals the God-given mission from the individual, as it seeks to do all in the name of the state; the name of government; for the good of the collective. It’s a tool of the devil to destroy all that’s exceptional about God’s creations; it’s a design of Satan to sell the idea that socialism is simply a way to help others and share in the fruits — all the while stealing from those who produce the fruits and shaming those who would express frustration with a government that takes their fruits. It’s a motivation killer, a free market destroyer, an entrepreneur’s nightmare — and a power-hungry, control freak Democrats’ dream come true.
Mamdani can call himself whatever the likes. He can claim he’s not a socialist, but rather a democratic-socialist. He can pretend he’s not a communist and insist he’s simply a man of compassion and justice.
But every patriotic American knows him for what he is: a destroyer. An abomination to all that’s good in the country — and the world.
Hope they Lysol sprayed the hallways after he left the White House.
Trump agreed to meet him to gauge his character up close and personal, in the way of smart leaders who keep their friends close and their enemies closer.
But make no mistake: Mamdani doesn’t belong in politics, as a humble servant to the people. The only place for socialists in America is outside of America.
